US SEC seeks India's help in probe against Adani in bribery case

The US Securities and Exchange Commission has sought India's Law Ministry's help in its probe of Gautam Adani and his nephew Sagar over an alleged $265-million bribery scheme. "The SEC has requested assistance...under the Hague Service Convention," it said in a court filing. Last year, US authorities accused Adani of paying bribes to Indian officials to secure solar energy contracts.
