US is seeking access to Anthropic's restricted AI model Mythos Preview, despite its parallel efforts to blacklist the startup as a supply chain risk, Axios reported. Even US officials who dislike Anthropic concede it's building tools that may strengthen national security. An official said only Department of War doesn't want Anthropic, and other departments "don't give a f**k about that".
