US sees first-ever combat loss of E-3 aircraft due to Iran's strikes
The first-ever combat loss of US' E-3 aircraft has been registered as Iran struck the aircraft with Shahed drones at a Saudi Arabian base. The AWACS (Airborne Warning and Control System) plane is used to spot threats and guide other military aircraft. It is reportedly worth $500 million, and replacing it will become a costly deal for the US.
