US Senate blocks bid to stop Trump from sending military to Cuba

The US Senate on Tuesday blocked a resolution that would have barred President Donald Trump from launching a military operation in Cuba without congressional approval. The Senate voted 51 to 47 against the resolution with Republican Party members stating Trump has not launched any military action in Cuba. This comes after Trump had said "Cuba is next" amid US-Iran war.
