US ships should travel for free through Panama, Suez canals: Trump

US President Donald Trump said on Sunday that the "American ships, both military and commercial, should be allowed to travel, free of charge, through the Panama and Suez Canals." In a post on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump stated that he has "asked (US) Secretary of State Marco Rubio to immediately take care of and memorialise this situation."
