US sinks enemy ship with torpedo for 1st time since World War II

The US' submarine attack on an Iranian warship in Indian Ocean off Sri Lanka's coast marked the first instance of the US sinking an enemy ship with torpedo since the World War II. Hegseth called the attack a "quiet death," adding that the warship "thought it was safe in international waters." At least 80 people onboard the ship were killed.
