US soldier dies while detonating Iranian drone in Iraq

A US soldier has passed away "during a controlled detonation of unexploded ordnance from a downed Iranian one-way attack drone" in northern Iraq on July 18, US CENTCOM said. "A second service member was wounded and continues to receive medical treatment for a minor injury," the CENTCOM added. Earlier, two US soldiers were killed after Iran's attack in Jordan.
