US, South Korea conduct bombing drills after North Korea fired missile

The US and South Korea conducted bombing drills after North Korea fired a missile over Japan, South Korean military said. It was North Korea's first missile to fly over Japan since 2017 and fifth launch in 10 days. Japanese PM Fumio Kishida called the action "barbaric". The launch prompted warning in northern Japan and residents were urged to take shelter.
