US spent $999 billion on NATO for a decade, ridiculous: Trump

US President Donald Trump criticised NATO allies over their defence spending, claiming that the US contributes far more than any other member. In a Truth Social post, Trump stated that, between 2014 and 2025, the US spent $999 billion; the UK contributed $90.5 billion, while France stands at $66.5 billion. He added, "Others, including Germany, are MUCH LOWER. Ridiculous!"
