US startup founder accused of ₹2,800 crore fraud claims mirror fell on her head, erased memory
US fashion-tech startup CaaStle's founder has been sentenced to five years in prison for defrauding investors of $300 million (around ₹2,800 crore). Christine Hunsicker's defence claimed a "thirty-pound" mirror fell on her head, causing memory loss and behavioural changes that led to the crime. She allegedly conducted Google searches such as "bank fraud vs wire fraud severity".
