US startup's 44-year-old CEO pleads guilty to fraud in $42 mn ICO

US-based blockchain startup Shopin's 44-year-old CEO Eran Eyal pleaded guilty to felony securities fraud in connection with an unregistered $42.5 million Initial Coin Offering (ICO), a New York Attorney General's office announced. Eyal pleaded guilty to two more felony counts of scheming to defraud in connection with his two prior startups. He also agreed to step down as Shopin's CEO.
