US stock market crashes as Trump's Iran deadline nears end
The major US stock market indices fell on Tuesday as US President Donald Trump's deadline for Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz nears its end. The Dow Jones Industrial Average dipped over 300 points, S&P 500 fell 0.8%, while Nasdaq slumped 1.13% as of 10:02 am EST. Shares of Apple, Tesla and NVIDIA were all trading in the red.
