US stocks climb over 1% on easing crude oil prices
All stock indices in the US rose as crude oil prices eased slightly on talks of securing the Strait of Hormuz for more tankers to pass. Tech-heavy Nasdaq opened 1.06% or 235.03 points higher at 22,340.39, while S&P 500 opened 0.7% or 42.18 points higher. Futures linked to the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 223 points, or 0.5%.
