US strikes targeted bridges leading to Khamenei's burial site, says Iran

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed US strikes targeted two bridges leading to Mashhad, where former Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei will be buried on Thursday. The IRGC said the strikes were aimed at overshadowing the funeral ceremonies. US launched strikes on Iran, saying they were in response to attacks on three oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz.
