US students build wheelchair to help paralysed student enjoy outdoor activities

A team of Tennessee Tech University engineering students built an all-terrain wheelchair to help a local community college student get back to the activities he once enjoyed outdoors. Michael Vhan McGuire, was paralysed from the waist down in a 2024 motorcycle accident. The students worked with him to make a customised wheelchair design that adapted two motorised mountain bikes.
