US Supreme Court blocks Trump's restrictions on transgender inmates

The US Supreme Court rejected President Donald Trump's administration's request to enforce restrictions on gender-affirming care for transgender inmates. It refused to lift a federal judge's order blocking policy. The policy prohibits medical treatments, along with accommodations such as hair-removal devices that could be used to alter a person's appearance to align with their gender ​identity.
