US Supreme Court rejects Trump's appeal in sexual abuse case

US Supreme Court on Monday declined to hear President Donald Trump's appeal to review the 2023 verdict that found he defamed and sexually abused American writer E Jean Carroll. Trump had argued that the trial was unfair and the judge had improperly allowed evidence to be presented against him. Trump is liable to pay $5 million in damages to Carroll.
