US Supreme Court rejects Trump's move to fire Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook

The US Supreme Court on Monday rejected President Donald Trump's move to fire Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook. In a 5-4 ruling, the court blocked Trump's bid to become first US President to remove a Fed official since the central bank's creation in 1913. Trump had cited unproven mortgage fraud allegations to oust Cook.
