US suspends 26 Chinese flights in tit-for-tat move

The US government has said it'll suspend 26 China-bound flights by four Chinese carriers. This comes after the Chinese government suspended some US flights over COVID-19 cases. The suspension will apply to Air China, Xiamen Airlines, China Southern Airlines and China Eastern Airlines from September 5 to September 28. Chinese Embassy in Washington called the move "extremely irresponsible".
