US teens can access ‘nudify’ apps despite parental controls

US teenagers can access AI apps that generate fake nude images despite parental controls. Researchers created accounts posing as 13-year-olds and identified 135 apps that can digitally remove clothing or place faces on nude bodies. Some developers reportedly label such apps as suitable for minors, allowing them to bypass safeguards intended to protect children.
