US tests anti-ship missiles that can sink ships from long distance

The US Air Force tested the AGM-158C long-range anti-ship missile (LRASM) fired from a B-2 Spirit stealth bomber. The advanced missile can detect, track and destroy heavily defended enemy ships from far. During the tests, the missile struck a decommissioned target vessel in the Philippine Sea, marking the first publicly disclosed operational use of the LRASM from the B-2 bomber.
