US to deploy anti-drone system in Middle East to counter Iranian drones

The United States will soon deploy an anti-drone system in the Middle East to counter Iranian 'Shahed' drones amid the ongoing war, the Associated Press reported. The system called 'Merops', which already proved effective against Russian drones in Ukraine, flies drones against drones and is small enough to fit in the back of a midsize pickup truck.
