US to drop charges against Gautam Adani in $265 million fraud case: Report

US authorities are moving to resolve fraud charges against billionaire Gautam Adani, reported Bloomberg. Justice Department may ​reportedly announce the charges will ‌be ⁠dropped this week. The charges stemmed from indictment announced in November 2024, in which Adani and others were accused of participating in bribery scheme involving $265 million in payments to Indian government officials.
