US to rename street in front of Saudi embassy 'Jamal Khashoggi Way'

The Washington DC Council unanimously passed a bill on Tuesday that would designate a portion of the street that is directly in front of the Saudi US embassy as "Jamal Khashoggi Way". Khashoggi, a columnist with the Washington Post and a critic of the Saudi government, was killed and reportedly dismembered inside the Saudi consulate in Istanbul in 2018.
