US to send 5,000 troops to Poland after cancelling deployment plan

US President Donald Trump said in a Truth Social post that he will be sending 5,000 additional troops to Poland, one week after Pentagon cancelled plans to deploy 4,000 troops there. Trump said the decision to deploy troops was "based on US' relationship with Poland President Karol Nawrocki". US planned to deploy troops to Poland after withdrawing them from Germany.
