US to send cluster munitions banned by over 100 nations to Ukraine

The US said it would supply Ukraine with cluster munitions for its counteroffensive against Russia. US President Joe Biden said sending cluster munitions to Ukraine was a "difficult decision" and it'd taken him "a while to be convinced to do it". Biden added he'd acted because "Ukrainians are running out of ammunition". Cluster bombs are banned by over 100 countries.
