US, UK unlawfully assassinating my son: Julian Assange's mother

Julian Assange's mother Christine Assange has accused the US and UK governments of "slowly, cruelly and unlawfully" assassinating the WikiLeaks founder for "multi-award winning journalism revealing war crimes and corruption". She tweeted a link to a report from UN Special Rapporteur on torture, Nils Melzer, who said that the "collective persecution" of Assange "must end now".
