US video game firm's CEO resigns after supporting Texas abortion law
John Gibson, Co-founder of video game publisher Tripwire Interactive, has stepped down as CEO after receiving backlash for his tweet supporting Texas law that bans abortions after six weeks of pregnancy. "Proud of US Supreme Court affirming Texas law banning abortion for babies with a heartbeat," Gibson had tweeted. Several game developers also criticised Gibson, whereas, fans called for boycotts.
