US VP Vance calls PM Modi, discusses India-US ties

PM Narendra Modi received a phone call from US VP JD Vance on Saturday. "We discussed ways to further deepen India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership across key areas," PM Modi said. The phone call came after the US Senate approved a Bill that could allow the US to impose 100% tariffs on top importers of Russian oil, including India.
