US wants to end waiver on sanctions for Russian oil as soon as possible: Rubio

The US wants to end the waiver on sanctions for Russian oil "as soon as possible", US Secretary of State Marco Rubio told the US Congress. Rubio stated that the waivers were time-limited "for the purpose of opening up more global supply". The waiver on sanctions for countries like India is supposed to end on June 17.
