US War Secretary Hegseth tried to invest millions in defence stocks before Iran war: Report

A broker for US War Secretary Pete Hegseth tried to make a multimillion-dollar investment in major defence companies in the weeks leading up to US-Israel attack on Iran, Financial Times reported citing three people familiar with the matter. The investment discussed by Hegseth's broker did not ultimately go ahead. A US spokesperson said the report was "entirely false and fabricated".
