US warns citizens to leave Iraq amid Iran-backed militias' attacks

The US Embassy in Iraq warned Americans to leave Iraq amid attacks by Iran-backed militias. The advisory added that they should avoid going to the Baghdad Embassy "in light of ongoing risk of missiles, drones, and rockets in Iraqi airspace". It suggested citizens to travel to neighbouring countries through land where the airspace is open and flights are functional.
