US warns of potential terror threat ahead of Gaza war anniversary

US' Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Department of Homeland Security have warned of potential threats by terrorist organisations ahead of the first anniversary of the Israel-Hamas war on October 7. "Jewish, Muslim, or Arab institutions, including synagogues, mosques, community centres and large public gatherings...present attractive targets for violent attacks," the bodies said.
