US warship Abraham Lincoln departs Thailand after 5-day 'rest & recreation' stop
US aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln departed Thailand on Sunday after a five-day port visit. "We would like to thank the people of Thailand for their incredible hospitality," said its commanding officer. The warship, carrying around 5,000 personnel, arrived in Thailand on Wednesday for "rest and recreation" after spending 286 consecutive days at sea and underwent repairs and deep cleaning.
