US working on 60-day truce to end war in Lebanon: Reports

Mediators from US are reportedly working on a proposal aimed at ending the ongoing war between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon. The proposal will seek a 60-day truce, during which the full implementation of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1701 would be finalised. The resolution demands southern Lebanon to be kept free of weapons that don't belong to Lebanese state.
