US-based billion-dollar meditation app Calm raises $27 million

US-based meditation app Calm has raised $27-million funding from Lightspeed Venture Partners alongside TPG and some celebrity angels, Lightspeed announced. This funding adds to Calm's $88-million TPG-led Series B funding round, which was announced in February, that also valued Calm at $1 billion. Founded in 2012, Calm also offers Sleep Stories told by celebrities like Matthew McConaughey.
