Use electricity wisely: Govt as peak electricity demand breaks records for 4 straight days

Amid a severe heatwave in large parts of India, the country's electricity demand has surged to record levels for fourth straight day. "Although we are prepared to supply electricity as required, due to the intense summer, let us all try to use electricity wisely and judiciously," Ministry of Power said. The peak daytime demand usually occurs between 2 pm-4 pm.
