Use of loudspeakers not essential for any religion: Bombay HC

The Bombay High Court on Thursday said that the use of loudspeakers is not an essential part of any religion and rights of people are not affected if use of loudspeakers is denied. The court said this in response to a petition filed by two housing associations against noise pollution caused by loudspeakers installed on masjids in their area.
