Using VPN un-Islamic if used against national security: Pak body

Facing criticism for terming use of Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) to access blocked content online as "un-Islamic", Pakistan's Council of Islamic Ideology chief clarified the service would be deemed un-Islamic if it's used to harm national security. "If you register the VPN, and do positive activity...then there is no harm in it," the official, Allama Raghib Naeemi, said.
