Usman Khawaja announces retirement from international cricket

Australia opener Usman Khawaja on Friday announced his retirement from international cricket. The 39-year-old said that the Ashes Test in Sydney will be his last international match. The 39-year-old left-handed batter will enter his last Test with 87 Test caps and 6,206 runs, including 16 centuries. Khawaja revealed he had considered retirement at several stages in the last two years.
