USTM Assistant Professor Dr Yugal Kishore Mohanta has won the global Young Scientist Award–2025 for his breakthrough research on medicinal plants and phytochemicals. Conferred by the Society for Plant Research (VEGETOS), the honour recognises his work in translating indigenous botanical knowledge into modern therapeutic applications.
