USTM VC stresses universities’ role in achieving SDGs

USTM Vice Chancellor Prof GD Sharma said universities must go beyond teaching to become drivers of innovation and sustainable development. Speaking at the AIU East Zone Vice Chancellors’ Meet 2025–26, he stressed interdisciplinary research, industry partnerships and embedding sustainability in curricula, campuses and governance to meet SDGs and national goals.
