Uttar Pradesh DGP issues new guidelines for police encounters

Uttar Pradesh DGP Prashant Kumar has issued some guidelines for police encounters. Now, the videography of the site of the shoot-out in cases where an accused is killed/injured has been mandated. Furthermore, ballistic examination of the weapons used by both sides and testing handwash samples of the alleged criminals is also mandated. The post-mortem examination will also be video graphed.
