Rapid infrastructure development push in Uttar Pradesh has led to some very significant achievements for the state. UP was already the state with highest number of expressways and airports. Now, it has also become the state having highest number of cities with metro facilities. These cities are - Lucknow, Kanpur, Ghaziabad, Noida, Greater Noida and Agra.
