Uttar Pradesh's Fazilnagar town to be renamed as Pawagarh: CM Yogi

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath announced that Fazilnagar town in Kushinagar will be renamed Pawagarh. Yogi stated that name change reflected the district’s association with Mahavira, the 24th and last Tirthankara in Jainism. "By connecting with...rich traditions and cultural heritage of Pawagarh, people from across...country and around...world will be drawn to this sacred place," he added.
