Vacant plots used for multi-level parking in B'luru may get 100% property tax waiver

Karnataka has proposed a 100% exemption from property tax and service charges for qualifying vacant plots used for multi-level or mechanised public parking in Greater Bengaluru. Ground-level parking plots may get 50% tax relief. The draft parking rules aim to expand off-street parking capacity and ease congestion on roads. Public suggestions or objections are invited until September 10.
