Vaibhav deserves to be youngest debutant for India: IPL Chairman

After RR's Vaibhav Sooryavanshi smashed 78(26) in their IPL 2026 match against RCB, IPL Chairman Arun Singh Dhumal opined that the 15-year-old "deserves" to be the youngest debutant for India. "It's rare you get a chance to pick up someone so talented and so young too," he said. Dhumal added, "What an amazing batting display by Vaibhav this IPL season."
