Vande Bharat may cut Pune–Nagpur travel time to 4–5 hours

A high-speed Vande Bharat Express between Pune and Nagpur is under discussion, raising hopes for reduced travel time and better comfort. Currently, passengers endure 14-16 hour journeys plagued by delays and overcrowding. If approved, the new route could cut travel time to just 4-5 hours, transforming connectivity and strengthening role of Nagpur as a key semi-high-speed rail hub.
