Vande Bharat passengers can now buy food on board without pre-booking

Passengers travelling on Vande Bharat trains can now purchase food on board, even if they didn't opt for a meal while booking their tickets, the Railway Board said. In addition to customised Ready-to-Eat (RTE) meal options, freshly cooked meals would also be offered. "We've decided that non-optee passengers can also avail safe and quality food in...train," a railway official said.
