Vande Bharat sleeper coaches being made at Titagarh Rail Systems

Titagarh Rail Systems, in consortium with BHEL, is producing 80 Vande Bharat Sleeper trainsets (16 coaches each) at its Uttarpara facility. Production is underway, with car bodies for first rake due by March 31, 2026. The full train rollout is targeted for Q3 FY2027. These advanced AC sleeper trains mark a milestone, selected from bids by BEML, Kinet and Titagarh-BHEL.
